Planners have refused permission for a proposed housing development in Lisburn, following tens of objections were lodged against the development.
The scheme was set to be built in the Hillsborough Old Road area of the city.
Northern Ireland Planning Service officials processed 22 objections to the development, which would have offered six apartments at the rear of numbers 88 and 90 on the road.
According to planners, green-lighting the scheme would result in over-development at the site.
"It would be detrimental to the character and appearance of the locals area," officials said in a statement.
Planners cited the scale, form, massing and design of the development as harmful to the living conditions of residents.
The Service said this would occur "through dominance and overlooking resulting in a loss of residential amenity".
