Work to build a new fire station in County Sligo has been put out to tender.
A spokesperson for Sligo County Council said the authority was seeking to appoint a panel of competent building contractors to tender for the construction of the station at Ballymote.
"All particulars including pre-qualification questionnaires are only available on the e-tender web-site www.etenders.ie," said the officials.
Late last month, the council submitted proposals to construct a sewage pumping station at Easkey.
The development will consist of a pump sump, pumps, controls, meter chamber and associated site works in the townland of Castletown.
Plans for the development are open to the public until 6 February.
A planning spokesman said: "Submissions or observations in relation to the proposed scheme dealing with the proper Planning and Sustainable Development of the area may be made in writing."
