A Co Antrim man has been fined a total of £1,000 plus costs of £89 at Lisburn Magistrates' Court for planning offences.
Jackie Tate, Moira Road, Lisburn, appearing at court on 22 January, was found guilty of the non-compliance with a stop notice for the unauthorised use of the land as a scrap yard; the unauthorised storage of waste materials including scrap metals, vehicles and parts; and the unauthorised storage of associated plant, machinery and vehicles.
The man was also found guilty of unauthorised erection of buildings making a material change in the use of the said lands being development carried out without the grant of planning permission required.
