Pioneering Manufacturer Provides Solution To Changing Market

Designed to meet the needs of the customer in an ever-changing market, Dunlop Adhesives has introduced 'Standard Set Plus Floor & Wall Tile Adhesive'.

The product has been developed in a direct response to the growing popularity of large format wall tiles (often 600mm x 300mm and above) and the increased use of porcelain and natural stone.

Although these tiles can provide a very attractive finish when tiled correctly, they need an adhesive that is more flexible and provides time for small adjustments after the tiles are initially positioned to remove any difficulty in setting out.

Unlike most flexible adhesives that tend to also be fast-setting, Dunlop Standard Set Plus actually provides the user with an increased working time of 20-30 minutes. This provides the user with approximately twice as much time to adjust tiles after the initial positioning where the tile alignment or other changes need to be made.

So that customers can be assured of the superior product quality, Dunlop Standard Set Plus is formulated with Dunlop’s Porcel Bond™ technology, which highlights the products flexibility and strength to fix most tile types such as ceramic, porcelain, natural stone and terracotta, including popular large format tile sizes.

Additional benefits of Dunlop Standard Set Plus include its ability to be used on both walls and floors, its suitability for interiors and exteriors and its water resistance. This makes it more suitable for numerous applications, making it more effective and efficient than many other adhesives.

Dunlop Adhesives Product Manager, Damian Groarke said: "Dunlop Adhesives prides itself on listening to customers and staying ahead of trends in the market. We continue to use all of our exceptional technical ability to provide product solutions that offer exceptional ease of use - ultimately allowing customers to create the perfect finish for their tiling. Dunlop Standard Set Plus is no exception to this. It provides an ideal solution where flexibility and working times are key to enable superior finishes of tiling in line with the changing styles in the market."
