There are no plans to expand the amount of affordable housing stock in Swords, County Fingal, housing officials have insisted.
The councils housing department has revealed there is currently 34 affordable units in the district.
Details were disclosed following a question tabled by Fianna Fail councillor Darragh Butler.
Mr Bulter was speaking at a meeting of the Balbriggan/Swords Area Committee.
Thirty four homes are available in the Forrest Road area, however, there are no plans to provide additional stock, the council's housing officials said.
There are five three-bed houses, eight two-bed houses and two two-bed apartments for sale under the Affordable Housing Scheme in Ridgewood.
In addition to this a further 17 two-bed houses are available in Boru Court on the Forrest Road.
The local authority insisted there are "no more affordable units due to be procured in this area".
