A series of physical improvement projects have been completed on several Armagh housing estates.
Works comprised of the greater provision of additional car parking spaces and improved vehicular access at Callan Crescent and Drumbreda Avenue.
Alley gates were also installed at Callan Street, as well as security gates at Culdee Flats, and internal improvements to Callanbridge Community House
The projects, worth around £108,000, were financed by the Department for Social Development through its Neighbourhood Renewal Investment Fund.
Social Development Minister Margaret Ritchie said: "Environmental improvement works within local housing estates create a sense of community identity and pride among residents.
"It helps to promote a safer and more attractive neighbourhood within which to live, work and play."
She added: "I am pleased to have been able to fund this programme of work so that the people of Armagh benefit from real change."
