External maintenance work is being carried out on 207 Housing Executive properties in Cookstown, in a project valued at £424,000.
The homes in Stewartstown, Pomeroy and a number of other locations, will be repainted and new double glazed window units will be provided, where required.
Any defective external doors will also be replaced and other typical improvement work includes the repair of paths and fencing.
Housing Executive District Manager Ivan Armstrong said: "Investment in this type of work underpins our commitment to providing tenants with modern and high quality homes. Our aim is to ensure that homes are maintained to the highest possible standards."
The Housing Executive has appointed Egan contractor, PK Murphy Construction Ltd, to carry out the work, which are expected to be complete by next spring.
