Amendments to an approved housing development, along with community facilities, in Parslickstown, Dublin, have been made public by Fingal County Council.
The council, in association with the National Association of Building Co-Operatives (NABCO), originally planned to construct 231 one and two storey dwellings, a community room/shop, crèche, communal facilities building and housing association meeting centre in the town.
Proposals to build this scheme were approved by the council back in June 2003.
There has since been minor revisions and amendments to dwelling types, internal layouts, floor plans and elevational treatment works.
The total number of dwellings has been increased to 234, with a revised mix of dwellings and communal welfare facilities.
Five one-bed apartments; 69 two-bed apartments; 26 two-bed duplex apartments; 26 two-bed houses; four three-bed apartments, 104 three-bed houses; one communal welfare facility; and one management office will now be built.
The renewed plans have omitted a shop; a community room; as well as several other apartment designs, proposed to be located above certain facilities.
