Leitrim County Council has sought tenders for the construction of a rural dwelling at Drumbollog, in Drumshanbo.
The council has asked tenderers to submit a confirmation of insurance; confirmation of compliance with CIF pension, mortality and sick pay scheme; tax clearance certificate; a health and safety questionnaire; and example of works of a similar nature to the contract.
Meanwhile, Kilkenny County Council has given Evergreen FC permission to change the use of lands on Kells Road in Dundaryark.
The former farming land can now be used for recreational facilities. Permission was also granted to construct fencing, flood lighting, prefab structures and storage space at the site.
The council has also green-lighted works at Kilkenny Agri Business Park in Leggetsrath.
FIS Limited will now build a new business unit with a ground space of 889 square metres, as well as 35 parking spaces.
The scheme will encompass a machine shop, workshop, warehouse, office, canteen and toilet facilities.
A new access road will also be constructed.
