Northern Ireland bus manufacturer, Wrightbus, has won two contracts to build more than 200 buses for companies in Hong Kong and Singapore.
Welcoming the news, Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster said: "This is very encouraging news for Wrightbus, one of Northern Ireland's most successful locally-owned companies, especially at this challenging economic time.
"I congratulate Wrightbus on securing these contracts, which signal the company’s ongoing commitment to innovation and its ability to beat international competition.
"This announcement is testimony to what can be achieved when Northern Ireland companies seek out new markets for exports and form effective strategic partnerships to help develop and grow their business."
She added: "Invest NI will continue to work closely with Wrightbus to help the company build on this success and seek out additional business opportunities in export markets."
