Private Rentals Sought By Council

The Rental Accommodation Scheme has been expanded in Kilkenny.

The county authority is currently seeking one bedroom dwellings to rent under the scheme in Kilkenny city and environs area.

Landlords will have their rents guaranteed for the duration of contract. Contracts are for a minimum period of four years.

Properties within the scheme are exempt from the charge (currently €200) on non principal private residences.

Registration of interest forms for landlords, together with further details of the scheme are available on the council's website www.kilkennycoco.ie
