Dáil Environment Minister John Gormley has come under fire for his handling of the Dublin Development Docklands Authority (DDDA).
Fine Gael environment spokesman Phil Hogan accused Mr Gormley of engaging in "classic Fianna Fáil tactics" by refusing to order the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) to investigate DDDA, despite its failure to provide annual accounts.
Serious concerns have also been raised over DDDA's land deals, the TD said.
"The facts are clear. Information released to me confirmed that the DDDA has still not filed its annual accounts despite these being due in June," said Mr Hogan.
"This comes on the back of serious concerns that the Authority is having trouble repaying loans and over concerns over the role the Authority played in the purchase of the Irish Glass Bottle site."
Mr Hogan said Minister Gormley can sign an order with the Minister for Finance to order the CAG to investigate.
"Despite being aware of this opportunity, he has refused," said the Fine Gael TD.
"John Gormley is refusing to do his job, is refusing to defend taxpayers’ interests and is refusing to listen to common sense by refusing to order a CAG investigation into the DDDA."
Mr Hogan added: "Alongside this, as with NAMA, the Minister is afraid to provide full or even sufficient information on valuation. He has refused to provide information on DDDA valuations and the same is true of NAMA."
