Construction consultant WYG Ireland has announced plan to roll out a number of Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) courses to construction workers throughout Northern Ireland.

WYG delivers the CIOB’s Experienced Practitioners Assessed Programme and is now the province's only training provider accredited to deliver the Level 3 Certificate in Site Supervisory Studies and the Level 4 Certificate/Diploma in Site Management.

Roger Gillespie, Training Manager, WYG Ireland, said: "Gaining these professional qualifications will allow construction industry workers to demonstrate their professional competence and ability to prospective clients and employers, providing better career progression prospects.

"They will also benefit from the Construction Industry Training Board’s ongoing grant assistance for this programme."
