Proposals have been published for a new wastewater treatment plant in South Tipperary.
Local authorities have sought views on the plans, which would see a new facility constructed in the village of Golden.
The nature and extent of the proposed development will include the building of a plant in the townland of Hoop's-Lot, to serve Golden residents.
Proposed works will provide primary and secondary treatment and discharge to the River Suir, the council said.
Plans and particulars of the planned development are available for inspection at the Water Services Section at South Tipperary County Council.
"Submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development, dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development will be situate, may be made in writing," a council spokeswoman said.
