£11k For Galway Safety Works

The Republic's Rural Affairs Minister Éamon Ó Cuív has sanctioned €11,434 to Coiste Halla Éinne to carry out maintenance work on Halla Éinne, An Cheathrú Rua, in Co Galway.

This maintenance will involve health and safety works.

Announcing the grant, Minister Ó Cuív said that great work is being carried out in the hall and that he is happy to be able to provide this funding to update the amenity with regard to health and safety matters.

"Halla Éinne is an important facility for the community and for the summer college and this grant will help to improve this amenity," he said.
