The result of the judicial review on a planning application for Ireland's largest Tesco supermarket will be known this Friday.
If it goes in favour of the developer, work could start almost immediately with hundreds of construction jobs likely to follow.
The site for the 130,000 square feet store in Portadown has been earmarked for some time.
If Tesco get the go-ahead the multi-national company is likely to close their existing supermarket in Rushmere.
Ireland largest Tesco will be close to the Halford's bike store near Rushmere Shopping Centre with a locally-based developer ready to start the project right away, after another developer objected to the plan, forcing the judicial review.
