The Chairman of the Dublin Docklands Development Authority is to appear before the Oireachtas Environment Committee.
Niamh Brennan is set to face questions from TDs over developments within the docklands, including a glass processing plant.
The meeting, which is expected to take place over the coming weeks, is the result of correspondence by Fine Gael's environment spokesman.
Deputy Phil Hogan said: "This decision was made by the committee today and it is very welcome.
"The circumstances surrounding the property developments of the DDDA, particular in relation to the Irish Glass Bottle Site, as well as issues relating to corporate governance, are murky and require discussion."
