Mechanical engineering firm Gear Company operates in the heavy plant market.
The north west business also produces wind turbines and refurbishes gear boxes for machinery in a range of industries, including renewable energy, textiles, food processing, quarrying and engineering.
Northern Ireland Enterprise Minister, Arlene Foster welcomed the opening of the new factory, which was backed by Invest NI.
"The company has also worked with Invest NI to further enhance the skills of its staff to ensure an even more efficient, internationally competitive operation," she said.

"This new operational facility will enable Limavady Gear Company to further grow its engineering and production operations, including the manufacture of its new wind turbine.
The Minister continued: "Limavady Gear is tapping into the huge potential of the global sustainable energy and environment products and I would urge other local companies to follow their example. Such opportunities will be a key topic at Invest NI’s Energy & Environment Conference, due to be held in Belfast next week."
Managing Director Richard Hogg said: "The gear manufacture and refurbishment side of our business has evolved to meet changing client needs.
"We have also recently launched our new Skyrota wind turbine, targeted at the renewable energy market and we predict significant export business as a result."
