A major residential development is poised to get underway in Dublin - and while it is currently on hold, once underway, it will be a substantial €40m project.
It is to be built on a site adjacent to the existing DART line at the end of Railway Avenue, Sutton, Dublin 13.
The promoter, A and T Flood will be dealing privately with the works involved in the construction of more than 80 residential units which are to be contained in three new blocks.
These will be in separate three, five and eight-storey buildings as well as in the former 'Engine House' building that is also to be modified.
However, while plans were approved last year and the contract was awarded in August, there's as yet no on-site date as the scheme is officially "currently on hold".
The architect is O'Mahony Pike Architects and the main contractor and promoter, A and T Flood.
