US Investment Sees 65 Construction Jobs In Cork

Up to 65 construction jobs are to be created in Cork following the announcement that American pharmaceutical firm Biomarin are to establish a new plant in Ringaskiddy.

Taking over a facility previously owned by Pfizer, it marks the first time the company has invested outside the US.

Biomarin are investing €37 million ($50m) in the new plant Co Cork Plant.

The construction jobs will centre around preparing the site for the company.
