Regional Development Minister Danny Kennedy announces the start of a £150,000 major resurfacing scheme at the Gulladuff Road, Bellaghy.
Preliminary work began on 12 May 2014 at the B182 Gulladuff Road, Bellaghy from the village for a distance of approximately 0.9kilometres towards the Drumlamph Road.
The Minister said: "This scheme will greatly improve the strength and surface quality of the carriageway."
To help minimise any inconvenience to the travelling public and local businesses the majority of this work is programmed to be completed using a road closure.
The road closure will commence on 19 May 2014 for two days. During this period, traffic will be diverted through Hillhead, Knocklougrim and Gulladuff.
