Road schemes worth around £10.5m have been completed in the Fermanagh area in 2013/2014.
Transport Minister Danny Kennedy congratulated staff and contractors on the structural maintenance work on the roads in the last financial year.
He said: "In particular in the Fermanagh area, despite ever increasing demands on budgets, DRD invested over £10.5million in delivering a comprehensive range of road schemes and maintenance work.
"DRD is using its available resources highly effectively and continues to deliver quality public services in Omagh and across Northern Ireland.
"The A32 Cherrymount Link has been completed and opened to the public in June 2013. The scheme which cost £17million is operating well and provides a well used link between the A32 Irvinestown Road and the B80 Tempo Road."
This year, contractors will start work on major trunk road resurfacing schemes on the A4 Belfast Road at Tattenaheglish, Brookeborough and on the A46 Loughshore Road at Blaney and St Catherines.
