Resurfacing Scheme To Begin Near Kircubbin

An £85,000 resurfacing scheme near Kircubbin is to begin on Monday 23rd March.

Transport NI has been appointed to carry out the work at C0257, Innishargy Road. It is expected to be substantially complete by the end of April.

Transport Minister Danny Kennedy said: "This scheme will greatly improve the strength, shape and surface quality of the carriageway on an 830m section of this important C Class link road between Kircubbin and Ballywalter."

Diversions will be put in place.
