CRH Completes €3bn Acquisition Of Ash Grove Cement

Irish building materials company CRH has completed a $3.5 billion (approximately €3bn) deal to acquire leading US manufacturer Ash Grove Cement.

The US Federal Trade Commission issued its consent order for the transaction last week. The transaction has officially closed.

An agreement was reached for the acquisition last September.

Ash Grove Cement is currently headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas.
