New Fence To Be Built At Ros Muc In Co Galway

Coiste Peile an Phiarsaigh has secured funding from the government to build a new fence at the pitch in Ros Muc, Co Galway.

A new viewing fence will replace the rotting wooden fence which runs around the football pitch.

The Government Chief Whip and Minister of State for the Irish language, the Gaeltacht and the Islands, Seán Kyne, today announced he has approved a grant of up to €23,605 or 80% of the total cost for the project.

Minister of State Kyne said: "I am very happy to approve this grant for this active committee. There are excellent sporting facilities available in Pearse Park, Ros Muc and I hope that this funding will help the committee in keeping the pitch and its surroundings in a good condition."
