The Dublin Institute of Technology has announced the 2018 recipient of the Wallace Family Scholarship.

The Wallace Family Scholarships aim to support committed students who have not only demonstrated academic achievement but also engaged with the world of engineering outside of the classroom.

Liam Gregory, a third-year Mechanical Engineering student, has been announced as the latest winner.

The Wallace Family Fund for Engineering was established in 2016 by engineer Paul Wallace, a graduate of 1958 Bolton Street. It was with the financial support of a generous donor that Paul himself had the opportunity to study engineering at DIT in 1958. He went on to have a long and fruitful career as an engineer in both industry and academia, before sadly passing away at his home in America.
