A new programme of works has been announced to create a new walkway at Threemilewater Park in Co Antrim.
This project will see a new route developed at the popular Woodland Path site, complementing the existing walkway and allowing walkers to explore further into the woodland on the south side of the park.
The Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Alderman John Smyth, was joined by DEA representatives to unveil the plans.
Speaking about the new plans, Alderman Smyth said: "This is another fantastic investment by Council into our hugely popular outdoor spaces.
"We take great pride in the wealth of facilities, amenities and activities we offer and this new path will add to that already impressive range of walks and sights our parks and gardens have to offer."
Work is due to commence on the path next month and is expected to be completed this summer.
