Northern Ireland-based construction firm Henry Brothers is celebrating the success of one of its projects in England.
A project delivered by the firm's Henry Brothers Midlands division has been named as a finalist in several prestigious awards.
The £9 million Dryden Enterprise Centre at Nottingham Trent University will compete for the Project of the Year Award (under £20m) in the Construction News Awards and the Education category of the Brick Awards. In addition, the scheme has been shortlisted in the Community Engagement Project of the Year category of the Construction News Awards, in the CEF Awards, the Concrete Society Awards and the East Midlands Property Dinner Awards.
Set over four floors, the Dryden Enterprise Centre is based on Nottingham Trent University's City campus and provides high-quality facilities and extensive business support to entrepreneurs, start-ups, small to medium-sized businesses and larger enterprises.
Celebrating the success of the project, Managing director of Henry Brothers Midlands, Ian Taylor, said: "The Dryden Enterprise Centre is a stunning building with phenomenal detailing, and the whole team is thrilled that this excellence has been recognised in both national and regional awards.
"We are really proud of the project and delighted that it has been shortlisted for a string of awards in just a few months since it was completed."
Members of the construction team working alongside Henry Brothers Midlands on the scheme included architect Evans Vettori, engineers Mott MacDonald, Edge as project manager, Robinson Low Francis as quantity surveyor, with Couch Perry Wilkes handling the M&E elements.
