St John Ambulance (NI) has announced that it requires sessional trainer assessors to deliver first aid at work courses.
Applicants should have a First Aid at Work Certificate or be:
•registered and licensed as a doctor with the General Medical Council
•registered as a nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
•registered as a paramedic with the Health and Care Professions Council
Candidates are also required to have:
•evidence of nationally recognised Training AND Assessing qualification/s
e.g. a combined qualification such as 'Level 3 Award in Education and Training' or two separate qualifications such as 'CTLLS/DTLLS'
•a Minimum of 1 year first aid training experience (preferably adult training) or a medical background
•definite flexibility to travel throughout Northern Ireland to train at different venues as required
•definite flexibility to work weekdays, evenings and Saturdays as required
