Carlow Local Enhancement Programme Invites Applicants

Capital and current funding applications are now being invited for the enhancement of projects in County Carlow.

This year's Local Enhancement Programme (LEP) will provide €133,777.00 of capital funding to use towards carrying out necessary repairs and improvements to facilities, energy efficiency type projects and purchase of equipment among other essentials.

Of this, 30% of this amount is ringfenced for small scale grants of €1,000 or less.

Meanwhile, €22,296.00 of current funding is available for groups to use towards covering energy and running costs, to help them continue their important work within the community.

The LEP is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development with applications invited by Carlow Local Community Development Committee (LCDC).

The closing date for receipt of completed applications is 5pm on Wednesday, February 5.
