JJ Rhatigan & Company Scoops Award

County Galway-headquartered JJ Rhatigan & Company, a leading Tier 1 construction firm operating across Ireland, has been awarded the Best Family Business Award 2025 and named one of Ireland's Best Managed Companies for the third consecutive year at the recent Deloitte Best Managed Company ceremony.

Founded in 1952 by John J. Rhatigan, the company has grown from a small local contractor into a major construction business, reporting a turnover of €536 million in 2024.

Chairman and Group Managing Director Padraic Rhatigan said: "This accolade is a tribute to the collective effort of our entire team. It's their dedication, professionalism, and shared belief in our values that make achievements like this possible. As Chairman, I couldn't be more proud of the culture we have created together."

It reflects the unique balance we have achieved -staying true to the values that make us who we are while evolving our structures, processes, and governance to remain agile in a dynamic market.

"Our focus is always on the future: empowering our people, developing the next generation of leaders, and consistently delivering projects of exceptional quality, with speed, safety, and care."

As JJ Rhatigan & Company looks ahead, the company remains committed to its founding principles of integrity, quality, value, respect, and transparency, ensuring it continues to thrive as both a leading Tier 1 contractor and a family business dedicated to future generations.
