Chadwicks Opens New Santry Branch

Chadwicks has officially opened a new branch in Santry, relocating its long-established store to the Airways Industrial Estate, just four minutes from its previous site.

Senior leaders including Group CEO Patrick Atkinson, Managing Director Ken Brougham, Branch Manager David Finlay, Regional Director Ross O'Connor, Administration Manager Angela Balfe and Building Materials Supervisor Martin Paisley attended the official opening and cut the ribbon at the new store.

The Santry branch is the 35th of 38 Chadwicks locations to be revamped since 2018 as part of the company’s nationwide branch upgrade programme.

Established more than 40 years ago, Chadwicks Santry has long served tradespeople and DIY customers in the local area. The newly designed branch offers expanded product choice while retaining the same 21-member team, who have supported customers for decades.

To celebrate the opening, the branch is running a series of special offers until 7 April. These include deals on tools such as the Makita DJ180Z LI-ION Jigsaw 18V (Body Only), the Makita DTD152Z Impact Driver 18V LXT (Body Only) and the Powerplane 3G18V Laser Level.

The new Santry location features a fully refurbished interior designed to improve the customer experience. The warehouse space has been expanded, and timber products are now stored indoors, offering improved protection from the elements.

The branch has also introduced more than 1,500 new product lines, including kitchen taps and sinks from Quooker, workwear from Mascot and Portwest, as well as bathroom products such as the Geberit AquaClean Alba. Additional ranges include hand tools from DeWalt, demolition tools from Roughneck and PVC bathroom panelling tiles.

Customers visiting the branch will also find a new Smart Home display featuring advanced home security technology. The display highlights solutions that allow homeowners to monitor and control door locks, doorbells and outdoor lighting remotely, offering 24/7 oversight.

David Finlay, Chadwicks Santry Branch Manager, said: "It is an honour to unveil our new Santry branch with our loyal customers and colleagues. At Chadwicks Santry, we consider ourselves a big part of the community, and we are pleased to share the impressive new design and layout, including over 1,500 new product lines. Although we are now at a new location, the same colleagues who have been part of the Santry team for over 30 years are looking forward to helping our customers with projects big and small."
