Fingal County Council has extended the deadline for public submissions on the Draft Masterplan for the Old School House lands at Clonsilla, Dublin 15, to 5pm on 11 August 2025.
The Masterplan aims to enable sustainable development of these residentially zoned lands, reflecting their distinctive local setting. It supports the restoration and active re-use of the Old School House building and the delivery of the Royal Canal Urban Greenway as part of the overall scheme.
The Draft Masterplan documents can be viewed at Fingal County Council offices on Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, and at County Hall, Main Street, Swords, during normal opening hours (Monday to Thursday, 9.00am–5.00pm; Friday, 9.00am–4.30pm) from Monday 30 June 2025 to Monday 11 August 2025.
Submissions or observations may be made online via the consultation portal at consult.fingal.ie/en/consultation/old-school-house-masterplan-clonsilla, or in writing to: Senior Executive Officer, Planning and Strategic Infrastructure Department, Fingal County Council, County Hall, Main Street, Swords, Co. Dublin, K67 X8Y2. Please make your submission by one medium only, by 5pm on 11 August 2025.
A public information event will take place at Blanchardstown Library, Blanchardstown Civic Centre, Blanchardstown Centre, Dublin 15, on Wednesday 9 July 2025, from 4pm to 7pm. All members of the public and interested groups are welcome to attend and view the Draft Masterplan content.
