Private Firm Construction Employment Drops

There has been a 3.3 year-on-year decrease in private firm employment in the construction industry.

The Central Statistic Office have reported that the monthly employment index decreased from 113.8 in September 2006 to 110.0 in September 2007.

The final figure for August 2007 showed a smaller decrease of 2.4 per cent when compared with August 2006.
