Quinn Group's Pre-tax Profit Reaches €326m

Profits have soared at Country Fermanagh based Quinn Group.

According to the latest annual report pre-tax profit has risen from €326 million in 2005 to staggering €433 million 2006.

Group turnover reached €1.45 billion compared with €1.21 billion in 2005. According to the accounts the bulk of the profits were generated by Quinn's insurance arm.

Quinn Group is a multinational organization, founded by Chairman Mr Sean Quinn in 1973 the firm has substantial interests in a range of diverse industry sectors throughout Central and Western Europe.

The company portfolio includes financial services, hotel & property management, cement production and the manufacture of related concrete products.
