Roche Manufacturing Ltd has officially unveiled an updated range of concrete machinery for the hollow core pre stressed concrete industry.

The Galway firm's range now includes concrete saws, fixed and angular; lintel saws; bed cleaners, for cleaning, oiling, wire pulling and covering operations; lintel lifters; and stackers.

Jimmy Roche set up the family-run business in 1988, and continues to manufacture a range of machinery for the pre-cast concrete industry, electrical utilities and agricultural sector.

All the machines can be designed to suit the customers' needs, according to a company spokesman.

Prototypes are developed every three months, and the company said it is always open for new ideas and projects.

The spokesman added: "Our strength lies in our ability to solve problems by means of our engineering abilities.

"We apply this skill to the market by constant contact with our customers with a view to constantly improving our existing products and developing new ones."
