Dublin-based firm Industrial Nanotech's Nansulate HomeProtect Clear Coat thermal insulation and mold resistant coating has been named one of the best products of 2008 by Builder, Remodeling, Custom Home and Building Products Magazines.

The Building Products Top 100 award recognizes the top 100 building products and materials that generated the greatest amount of interest among readers of four major building and remodeling magazines.

Award winners will be featured in the May/June issue of Building Products magazine and the BP100 Award receives national press in outlets such as the Today Show, the Wall Street Journal and USA Today.

"We are honored to have our Nansulate energy saving coating win another award," said Francesca Crolley of Nanotech.

"These are truly unique and revolutionary products which significantly reduce energy use for homeowners, commercial building owners, manufacturers, and in government buildings.

"We are currently in the midst of a campaign to make state Governors aware of the substantial costs savings our coatings can provide and being awarded our third award for 2008 is expected to benefit our efforts," added the vice president of marketing.

The company's patented Nansulate coatings received two other awards in 2008, one from BUILDERnews Magazine and another from Qualified Remodeler Magazine.
