Fingal Housing Estate Repairs Agreed

A Fingal councillor has successfully lobbied local authority colleagues to sanction repair works at a local housing estate.

Rented properties in the Malahide estate will have their windows replaced, following action by Fianna Fail's Eoghan O'Brien.

Councillor O'Brien called on the council to examine the condition of the windows, and carry out repairs where necessary.

The county architect examined windows of the properties at Inbhir Ide in Malahide and determined that they were in "generally good condition".

However, some windows do require attention and the council has committed to fixing the problems.
