Building work has commenced on a new west Belfast playing field.
The work is be undertaken at the site of a popular community complex in the area.
It is expected construction works will be completed at the Grosvenor Community Centre by next year.
A new football pitch forms part of the plans, which will also see floodlight and fencing installed.
The former pitch was shut down three years ago when work began on the massive Westlink roads scheme.
The Westlink project was finished ahead of schedule, allowing full works to begin at the community centre.
Christina Black, Roden Street Community Development Group Manager, welcomed the news.
"We will ensure the new pitch will impact where it is most needed, and will enhance access for local-based sports teams," she said.
Belfast Lord Mayor and West Belfast Councillor Tom Hartley is expected to visit the site later this month to get an update on progress.
