Plans for the new N25 Waterford to Glenmore scheme have gone on public display.
The route options were revealed at an event in Kilkenny last week.
Progress on the scheme is a major objective for Kilkenny County Council and the National Roads Authority.
Route selection studies have commenced to identify an 'Emerging Preferred Route' for the scheme.
Nine route options have been developed as part of this process.
Members of the public were invited to view plans of the route options and make any comments or observations via questionnaires, available at the public information display.
The county council said it welcomed any views or concerns regarding the proposals.
