The County Tyrone village of Carrickmore has been rejuvenated through a series of improvements.
Over £130,000 was invested in the project under the Covid Recovery Small Settlement Regeneration Programme.
Improvements were delivered to the avenue at Termon Business Centre, including extending footpaths that lead directly into the centre of Carrickmore.
Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is committed to ensuring that the district is welcoming and the economy is thriving, expanding and outward looking.
Councillor Barry McElduff, Chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council commented: "I am delighted that the Council, through the Covid Recovery Small Settlement Regeneration Programme, has been able to provide funding to improve villages across the district.
"This rejuvenation project has improved connectivity between Termon Business Park and the village of Carrickmore.
"This has helped greatly to make Carrickmore an even more accessible place to do business in and to make Carrickmore an attractive and welcoming place for visitors
"It has had a clear, positive impact for the local, business community."
Further projects totalling £2.5 million will be delivered across 14 villages in the coming months across a geographical spread within the district.
This includes other village enhancement projects such as supporting property owners with improvements and frontage screening on community premises, sports facilities, village amenities and other infrastructure.
