The Government has approved appointees to the Board of the Grangegorman Development Agency (GDA).

The 15 person Board of Directors is the governing authority of the GDA.

The Agency is responsible for the redevelopment of the former St. Brendan's Hospital grounds in Dublin City Centre. The redevelopment aims to create a vibrant new city quarter with a diverse mix of uses, the principal use being consolidation of Dublin Institute of Technology’s (DIT) student population at the site.

• Mr Oliver Cussen, Chairperson Designate (Nominee of Minister for Education and Skills)

• Cllr Janice Boylan (Nominee of Dublin City Council)

• Mr Jim Curran (Nominee of Minister for Health)

• Ms Elva Duffy (Nominee of Minister for Education and Skills)

• Ms Denise Dunphy (Nominee of President of Dublin Institute of Technology)

• Dr Berna Grist (Nominee of Minister for Education and Skills)

• Ms Penelope Kenny (Nominee of Minister for Education and Skills)

• Mr Damien Kilgannon (Nominee of Minister for Education and Skills)

• Professor James Owen Lewis (Nominee of Minister for Education and Skills)

• Dr Noel O'Connor (Nominee of President of Dublin Institute of Technology)

• Mr John O'Hara (Nominee of City Manager, Dublin City Council)

• Mr Gerry O'Neill (Nominee of Minister for Health)

• Ms Deirdre Prince (Nominee of Minister for Education and Skills)

CEO Mr Michael Hand continues to be a member of the Board.
