Econstruction Products Ltd has announced a new partnership with NBT (Natural Building Technologies) Ltd, in a bid to promote their products Ireland-wide.

NBT has developed sustainable building products for the UK market for many years. The firm specialises in low energy and low carbon solutions.

A spokesman for NBT said: "We strive to deliver materials on the basis of performance, ecology, including impact on CO2 emissions and cost effectiveness. NBT puts a strong focus on effective quality control, accreditation and support."

NBT has been behind the Pavaclad and Diffutherm woodfibre (external) insulation - a high performance board system designed to maximise thermal insulation.

A spokesman said the product is best suited to either new or refurbishment projects.

Speaking on the new partnership, Econstruction Techincal Director Barry McCarthy said: "This new partnership represents out commitment to increase the availability of high performance, sustainable insulation systems to the Irish market. Along with out award winning spray foam insulation product Bio-Based Insulation we are now in a position to provide a solution for every insulation need."
